woot woot woot!
i'm back from KL! haha. tired seh. actually i got back quite some hours ago but i was lazy to blog lah. and now i want to sleep alr. anyway, here's the whole story.
so off we go on the train from
Tanjong Pagar to KL Sentral. yay. :D
we actually had to sleep with our bikes for the night. lol.
there was
supposed to be a competition at University of Malaya but the University played us out on the lodging and the initial plans that the told us of. bitches... we tried cycling off with our luggage but got lost so we had to take
CABS to Mount Kiara skatepark. quite alright lah. i was still kinda scared of the ramps there at first. lol. i suck. then got more used to the ramps there soon. well. it was way better than the June trip where i couldn't ride properly at all. we chilled and rode.
we now had a serious problem as we couldn't find any place for lodging. like wtf. its all because the University thing screwed up lah. i'm too lazy to explain. its like sriously too fucked up to explain. serious dilemma. luckily,
Eric, one of the co-owners of
Scary Bikes called to ask if we were settled down yet and there you go, out saviour. lol. he went to check up some cheap hotels, make some calls and viola, cheap
hostel to stay in. RM 152 a night for 7 people altogether. how cheap can it get? and best of all, it was located like 10 mins cycle away from
Shah Alam skatepark.
off we went. damn happily. arrived at
Carlton Holiday Hotel. sweet. checked in with our bikes and went off to dinner at
Tesco. 5 mins walk away. woot. lovely place to eat and shop. i bought like many shirts from there lah. and ate to my heart's content. :D
lepak lepak. then watched vids and then bed.
next few days was just riding and riding and riding. i managed to try lots of new stuff that i never tried the last time i went to
Shah Alam skatepark. stuff like the full pipe and transfers and shit like that. haha.
there was one day that the hotel called us while we were riding and told us we had to pack up and go because some guest complaint that we were riding in the corridors. we went back and talked to the hotel staff and even managed to extend our stay a day more so that we could ride even more. how cool is that. the gift of the glib. lol.
on the last day, we checked out and went off the KL Sentral to buy train tickets. quite packed but we managed to get front seats and slot our bikes into some random spaces. arrived at Tanjong Pagar station at about 10. home sweet home. great trip. great experience. (:
